Smoky Mountain Jeep Club will be doing a year-end ride to Cades Cove. We will be meeting at The Cades Cove Outpost in Townsend at 12:00 pm and jeeps hit the road at 12:30 pm. As always check in on Facebook at the Outpost and mention you are with Smoky Mountain Jeep Club and you will receive our club exclusive 15% off apparel discount, this is a great time to finish any last-minute Christmas shopping!!
The scenic driving tour through the Cades Cove Loop takes approximately two to four hours depending on traffic. The slow pace makes it easy to enjoy the amazing mountain landscapes, wildflower meadows, and diverse wildlife. Halfway through the Loop, we will make stops at the Visitors Center where photo opportunities are ample and restrooms are available. The water-powered mill near the Visitor Center is a must-see, as well.
At this point, depending on weather conditions we will also take a quick bite to eat. As always, please bring chairs, blankets, and snacks.
